VIDEO: Hiking Back From Mendenhall Glacier

I’m forever at the back of the group in outdoor adventures.

In June 2016, I hiked to Mendenhall Glacier, mainly because I wanted to see the ice cave. After a 2 hour trek up and down uneven terrain, wet mud, rocks, streams, and steep cliff full of loose, slippery rocks, we finally made it to the glacier and the ice cave.

It was incredible… and then we had to hike back up the cliff before making our way back through the original trail.

This was the hike back up the cliff, taken with GoPro Hero 3+ Silver, which was attached to my wrist strap which is why the footage is so bouncy… but at least you get an idea of the difficult of the hike!
